Years Of Experience
My name is Tracy Sellers, M.A. Licensed Minister and Chaplain, and I am a Christian Pastoral Counselor. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Pastoral Ministry through Grand Canyon University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. I have three certificates through the Benny Hinn School of Ministry; “Divine Healing,” “How to Pray for the Sick,” and “Practicing the Presence of God.” I am a licensed and ordained Minister and Chaplain through the National Association of Christian Ministers Michael D. Mooney, M. PSY, M.B.A. President Elder, and Rodger Niemier M. Div. Vice-President Elder. I am on the Ministry Charter through the National Association of Christian Ministers as Calvary Chapel Counseling Ministry. I went to Calvary Chapel for many years. I am pursuing my Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling Ph.D. through Liberty University. I have made my home church Park West Church, in Knoxville, T.N.
As a Christian Pastoral Counselor and Eldress “female elder,” I use both psychospiritual and Christian theological resources to address psychospiritual issues. Pastoral is defined as the giving of spiritual guidance. Christian Pastoral Counseling is a provision of the spiritual guidance of or relating to the spiritual care or advice of people who are members of a religious group. I believe in the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, three persons in One God, Jesus Christ. I help clients that are having problems with depression, anxiety, anger, autism, ADHD, asperser’s syndrome, distress, suicide issues, drug addiction, relationship problems, marriage problems, occult matters, hospice, and grief counseling, and I counsel men, women, and children with any disease. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let him pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” (James 5:14-16)
I have traditional Christian training to address psychospiritual issues in relation to God. “Psycho” comes from the Greek word “psyche,” meaning soul, mind, and principle of life. “Spiritual” means your relationship with God. I use psychospiritual and theological resources to deepen your understanding of the bible and your relationship with the Lord Jesus. The session will be about talk therapy and prayer, which may include “the laying on of hands,” precisely what the bible talks about. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and the power of prayer affects our soul, emotions, mind, will, consciousness, and physical body.
I use biblical cards with Christian art to help visualize your relationship with the Lord Jesus. Each card has Christian art on it with a biblical message. This takes us back to biblical history and reminds us that Jesus was alive back then, and the Lord Jesus is alive now and forever! I use the “The Good Shepherd Jesus Spiritual Cards,” the “Loving Words of Jesus” “Prayers to Lighten your Path,” and “Messages of Love from Jesus.” The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both” (Proverbs 20:12). This means God has made all things for Himself, and they should be used for His glory and be dedicated to the end for which they were made. The Bible tells us, “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint, but happy is he who keeps the law” (Proverbs 29:18). Where there is no vision or consciousness of responsibility for keeping the law, the people perish for its lack of enforcement. Still, the one who keeps the law in such times is blessed and happy. The word “Revelation” means the revealing of something. “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalms 46:10)
